We’re looking for a Business Risk Manager to manage the risk and control environment for our Core Payments team. You’ll partner with Operations, Product, Engineering, and Risk teams to proactively identify and mitigate business risks while strengthening controls.

What you'll be doing

Partnering with Core Payments leadership to identify, assess, and proactively manage business and operational risks
Promoting a proactive risk culture by embedding risk awareness into day-to-day decision‑making and operations
Performing risk assessments for new products, payment flows, operational processes, and strategic initiatives
Designing, implementing, and continuously improving risk controls, governance frameworks, and monitoring processes
Investigating incidents, identifying root causes,



and working cross-functionally to implement sustainable solutions that prevent recurrence
Challenging existing processes, identifying control gaps, and recommending practical improvements that balance customer experience, operational efficiency, and risk
Collaborating closely with Operations, Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams to ensure risks are understood and effectively managed
Developing meaningful risk metrics and dashboards to provide leadership with clear visibility into key risk areas and emerging trends
Supporting strategic projects involving payment schemes, banking partners, central banks, and clearing systems

What you'll need

7+ years of experience in business risk management, operational risk, enterprise risk, or a similar risk-focused role within financial services, fintech, or banking
Solid problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and develop
