As part of ABB Robotics, you will validate autonomous mobile robot software to ensure reliability before customer deployment. You’ll work on hands-on validation with robotic platforms, strengthen test automation, and improve release readiness. You operate within a cross-functional team, shaping robust software releases in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment. This role offers hands-on impact across Spain and Switzerland, contributing to a mission of reliable, industry-leading robotics solutions.

Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Execute and document validation activities for new features, bug fixes, and software releases on robotic platforms
• Investigate test failures, reproduce issues, determine root causes, and verify fixes with development teams
• Maintain and extend manual and automated test suites; collaborate with test automation to increase coverage
• Improve validation workflows, test environments, and release readiness criteria to boost testing efficiency and product quality

Responsabilidades




• Experience hands-on with robotic platforms or similar hardware-software systems for testing, integration, or troubleshooting
• Strong Python programming skills and familiarity with Linux-based systems
• Experience executing and documenting structured validation or test activities
• Analytical mindset with root-cause analysis and systematic issue resolution
• Knowledge of robotics concepts (localization, navigation, perception, AMRs); ROS experience is a plus
• Strong communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Industrial experience in software testing or validation engineering is a plus
