Here’s a Taste Of What You'll Be DoingAs a Cost Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing and controlling distribution and warehousing costs while supporting the business in achieving its service and efficiency objectives. Working closely with Supply Chain, Finance, and external logistics partners, you will provide insightful analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Preparing and managing distribution cost budgets and forecasts in partnership with operational teams.
- Delivering monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis,
risk and opportunity assessments, and reconciliation against budgets and forecasts.
- Supporting the optimisation of warehouse, transportation, and logistics operations through financial analysis and performance monitoring.
- Analysing key cost drivers and operational performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and support business decision‑making.
- Coordinating financial and performance reviews with external logistics providers and key business partners.
- Monitoring supplier invoices and ensuring accurate processing and payment in line with contractual agreements.
- Supporting monthly financial close activities and maintaining data accuracy across financial systems.
- Developing reporting tools and dashboards that provide visibility into distribution performance and costs.
