The Battery Design Engineer will be responsible for the mechanical design and development of BOLD's battery systems using the latest state-of-the-art CAD tools, leveraging top-class engineering principles knowledge. What You Will Do Lead battery design solutions based on technical specifications to meet performance targets, including mass, safety, certification, and structural integrity, among other key requirements. Prepare detailed initial specifications and statements of work, including comprehensive drawing and specification tables, to guide the design process. Design and developing mechanical assemblies and structures using 3D Experience - Catia v6 ensuring they meet high-performance and industry standards. Lead and mentor other design team members,



ensuring alignment and collaboration on product or project areas to meet technical and timeline objectives. Work closely with electrical, structural, and thermal simulation teams to incorporate their insights and recommendations into the design. Proactively suggest improvements and share recommendations with the broader design team for continuous improvement. Apply deep knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes, particularly in high-performance environments such as aerospace and motorsport, to the design and development of battery components. Partner with project managers and team members to ensure the design process aligns with project timelines and cost expectations, contributing to successful project delivery.
