1. FUNCTIONAL CONTENT
Main Role




The Buyer Specialist supports procurement activities by managing operational purchasing processes, coordinating with internal stakeholders and suppliers, and contributing to efficient and compliant sourcing decisions. The role ensures service continuity, cost competitiveness, and alignment with procurement strategies defined by Category Managers.

This position will focus on indirect categories, particularly Technology and Digital.

Responsibilities

- Provide support to cross‑functional projects (Business, Marketing, Engineering, Quality, Operations, R&D;, IT, etc.) by coordinating procurement needs.
- Manage RFQs (Requests for Quotation), compare supplier proposals, and support decision‑making processes.
- Provide operational and market information to support Category Manager strategic decisions.
- Contribute to supplier negotiations, contract reviews, and category updates.
