In this role you will support seismic analysis, design, and qualification for Rondo's Heat Battery System, shaping robust, code-compliant hardware for a cross-functional product team. You will work across geographies to assess seismic demand, develop design criteria, and support permitting and deployment at scale. Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Perform DEM and FEM analyses with appropriate tools
• Develop automated workflows for DEM/FEM simulations (model generation, data extraction, post-processing, reporting)
• Document inputs, methodologies, and results; present findings in technical reports
• Develop and execute model validation using shake table data and experiments
• Conduct seismic hazard assessment and develop design criteria and calculation packages across geographies
• Evaluate seismic demand on structures,



enclosures, equipment supports, ducting, and interfaces
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative engineering culture

Responsabilidades
• 5+ years in seismic engineering, structural dynamics, or earthquake engineering for industrial/energy/infrastructure facilities
• Experience with DEM and FEM tools (3DEC, SAP2000, Ansys)
• Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB for data processing and tool development
• Strong knowledge of seismic codes and standards (ASCE, FEMA, Eurocode)
• Effective communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional teams with mechanical, electrical, process, and supply chain functions
• Experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Navisworks)
