What You’ll DoThis role is for an expert who can build and run an enterprise-scale data governance program for a global EDW, with strong fluency across Security, Compliance, and Legal. You will not be hands‑on technical,



but you will influence technical teams to implement governance rules and controls, and you will chair a complex, globally distributed Data Governance Council.
- Support the execution of Scopely’s data governance strategy for the global data warehouse
- Work closely with Security, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, and data teams to translate requirements into clear and actionable policies
- Help define and implement governance frameworks such as data classification, PII handling, access control, and data lifecycle management
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure governance policies are implemented correctly in data platforms
- Contribute to access governance processes, including approvals, reviews, and monitoring
- Help maintain documentation, decision logs, and governance guidelines to ensure transparency and consistency
- Identify risks related to data usage and support mitigation plans with clear tracking
