The Sourcing Manager for Indirect Procurement located in Madrid is responsible for managing a portfolio of indirect categories and strategic suppliers across regions and business units.

The role designs, develops, and executes category strategies aligned with Straumann Group’s business objectives, business needs, sustainability framework, and procurement transformation roadmap.

The Sourcing Manager drives value creation through cost optimization, risk mitigation, supplier performance management, and increased spend under management. The role operates in a integral matrix environment, partnering closely with Business Units, Corporate Functions, and Regional stakeholders.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Manage under the lead of Category Manager and Category Manager Director a portfolio of selected Indirect categories (e.g., Corporate Services, Company Cars, Professional Services, Facilities Management, etc.).




- Develop Procurement category strategies, that are aligned with the overall business strategy and sustainable framework of the Straumann group: ensure the execution of sourcing projects that are integrated, cross-functionally executed and aligned with Straumann business stakeholders.
- Evaluate supply risk and formulate mitigations to ensure continuity of product supply to the operations.
- Analyze supplier markets and provide recommendations that translate into actionable strategies and forward-looking analysis. Develop expertise, maintain market intelligence and stays abreast of the changing supply base and new technologies.
