Responsibilities
Collaborate on the architectural definition of the electric drive system (electrical machine and its controller) and the equipment system design to ensure safe and successful in‑flight operation.
Participate in the integration of equipment and systems at the aircraft level, including physical integration (DMU evaluation) and managing environmental and safety requirements.
Conduct safety analyses, such as cascading POD requirements to equipment/systems, reviewing compliance,
analyzing the impact of fire zone reclassification, and studying the behavior of degraded electrical drive system (EDS) functions.
Support design and integration activities to identify failure scenarios, understand their relationship to aircraft and safety, and define interfaces with the aircraft and propulsion system needs.
Manage system requirements and learning needs (central roadmap, follow‑up, etc.).
Create and review supplier data for analyses like FMEA, FMES, IHA, and (P)SSA.
Support suppliers with the technical development of the electrical system, ensuring its proper integration and compliance with safety analyses.
Required Skills and Experience
Education: A university degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of experience as a system engineer, demonstrating full autonomy in managing project activities.
