About The Job
Based at Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona within the Engineering Department,
the Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure that all hotel facilities, equipment, and technical systems operate efficiently and safely. The Maintenance Technician reports to the Chief Engineer / Engineering Supervisor.
Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks across hotel facilities.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and masonry.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the proper condition and functionality of equipment and installations.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and incidents reported by different hotel departments.
- Coordinate and collaborate with external contractors and service providers when required.
- Keep accurate and up‑to‑date maintenance records using established management systems.
