Field Service Engineer (English - speaking) On-site + Traveling HD01

Barcelona, Spain (hybrid)

Role Overview

Field Service Engineer in Barcelona. You will deliver on‑site service and remote support for client equipment, ensuring quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

-

- Deliver on‑site service via work orders: install, commission, maintain, and repair customer equipment

- Provide remote technical support and manage complex escalations, including L1 analysis and advanced troubleshooting

- Handle multiple escalations in parallel, meeting SLA targets and minimizing upward escalation

- Document service activities, produce technical reports, and train customers on operation and basic maintenance

- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

- Communicate service delivery in English (additional languages a plus)

- Travel extensively across Spain, Portugal, and France (expenses covered), and to other European countries as required by business needs

Qualifications

- Native or proficient level in English; Spanish is a big plus

- Valid driving licence

- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams; solid knowledge of electrical and electronic systems

- Strong hands‑on technical skills with high attention to detail and an engineering mindset

- Ability to analyze complex machine behavior, understand subsystem interactions, and develop advanced troubleshooting solutions

- Experience supporting installations, site preparation, and complex systems (mechanical, electrical, water)





- Proven background in field service, maintenance, or technical support within electromechanical or industrial environments

- Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and remote diagnostics skills, with high productivity and low re‑escalation rates

- Solid business and operational awareness, including KPI understanding, responsible parts usage, and work order optimization

- Ability to propose process improvements, workflow enhancements, and efficiency gains

- Strong customer‑facing and communication skills, able to manage critical situations through full resolution

- Collaborative, growth‑oriented team player who actively contributes to technical forums and meetings

- Full‑time 39 hours per week permanent contract: Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00

- Base salary 23,000 euros gross per year + 4,000 euros position allowance + up to 4,000 euros gross per year in bonus
