We are looking for an experienced data center engineer / network engineer to actively manage our data centers.Department:Project Location:Barcelona, Spain or Athens, GreeceEducation:Master's DegreeCompensation:TBDResponsibilitiesMaintain and build reliable, secure, and efficient data communication networks between our data center locations.Perform daily management and troubleshooting of network, LAN, WAN, and firewall environments.Set up and manage virtualization environments (Proxmox, KVM, and occasionally VMware).Resolve support tickets and diagnose issues.Perform routine updates and maintenance tasks for time-sensitive issues.Install, configure, and support our local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and the internet systems of our corporate group or a segment of a network system.Must be able to deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor all active network devices to ensure smooth network operations.Monitor our networks to ensure network availability for all system users and, if necessary,



perform the required maintenance to support network availability.Collaborate on developing solutions to problems as part of a team and in consultation with customers.Provide a preliminary solution implementation until the root cause of the problem can be identified and the issue resolved.Install and integrate new server hardware and applications; monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency); and test for vulnerabilities.Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords. Define network policies and procedures.
