Join Roche, where every voice matters.Para ser considerado para una entrevista, por favor, asegúrese de que su solicitud se ajusta plenamente a las especificaciones del puesto que se encuentran a continuación.The PositionJob OverviewThe Facilities Engineer is responsible for delivering engineering projects, coordinating technicalmaintenance activities, and ensuring the reliable operation of building systems and criticalutilities at the Roche Sant Cugat site.Reporting to the Lead HARD Services, the role acts as the technical interface between Rocheand external service providers, ensuring maintenance activities, engineering projects,compliance requirements, and technical documentation are executed safely, efficiently, and inaccordance with Roche standards.The position combines technical expertise with strong project coordination and stakeholdermanagement, focusing on execution rather than strategic ownership.Key Responsibilities● Manage and deliver engineering and automation projects from start to finish, managesmall- and medium-sized engineering and infrastructure projects and support largerCAPEX initiatives led by the Lead HARD Services. You will be responsible for definingproject scope, tracking timelines, managing risks, and ensuring a structured handover tooperations. Prepare and maintain critical project documentation.● Coordinate the daily activities of technical contractors, monitor service performanceagainst established KPIs, and ensure accurate reporting through Roche maintenancesystems. . You will integrate contractors into Roche’s tools and dashboards, making surethey report standardized, high-quality maintenance metrics to guarantee reliableoperational data.● Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance:
Support and coordinate technicalaudits and official inspections (including APQ, Low Voltage, and Fire Protection/PCI).Maintain all maintenance records, certifications, and technical documentation fullyorganized, updated, and ready for review and follow up corrective actions arising fromaudits and inspections until closure.● Support sustainability and digital transformation: Contribute to energy-saving andcarbon-reduction initiatives through efficient asset management, maximizing the use ofdigital tools to enable data-driven decision-making.● Maintain collaborative and proactive communication with internal stakeholders: Buildstrong, trust relationships across departments. Show active readiness to support otherareas, and proactively update team leaders before technical interventions or incidentsimpact their daily operations.● Oversee daily technical operations and asset maintenance: Coordinate preventive,predictive and corrective maintenance activities performed by external service providers,ensuring asset availability, technical quality, safety and regulatory compliance. for allbuilding utilities (HVAC, electricity, water, and gas) and critical automated logisticsassets to ensure maximum operational availability and safety.● Maintain the integrity of asset and maintenance data within the CMMS, ensuring workorders, preventive maintenance plans, spare parts information and technicaldocumentation remain accurate and up to date.● Support root cause investigations for technical failures, proposing and implementingcorrective and preventive actions to improve asset reliability.Who You Are● Focus on solving problems rather than explaining difficulties,
presenting practical optionswhen technical challenges arise.● Build strong relationships across departments and update internal clients proactivelybefore technical issues affect their operations.● Focus on making things happen by directing external partners and supervising results,rather than performing hands-on manual work.● Maintain a highly organized approach to managing technical projects and use KPIs todrive continuous improvement.● Perform well under pressure in regulated environments, managing multiple prioritiessafely and efficiently.● Results-oriented, structured, and comfortable in a regulated, dynamic environment.● Approach daily challenges with a constructive, solution-focused mindset, building warm,trust-based relationships across teams through empathy, open communication, andgenuine collaboration.Qualifications &ExperienceMust; have requirements● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, orAutomation).● 5–7 years of experience in Engineering, Facilities Management, or Project Management.● Strong background in managing technical and engineering projects including the use ofproject tracking methodologies or tools.● Good understanding of local regulations and official codes applicable to building andindustrial installations.● Good communication skills in English and Spanish.● Solution-oriented approach, a constructive and positive attitude, and the ability to buildtrust and communicate clearly with internal clients.Who we areA healthier future drives us to innovate.
