As a Data Governance u0026amp; Quality Engineer, you shape Agilent's data foundation by governing metadata, quality, and ownership across enterprise assets. You’ll collaborate with data owners and analytics teams to ensure data is discoverable, trusted, and ready for operational, analytical, and AI use cases. You’ll enable governance in Microsoft Fabric and data catalog environments while driving transparency and quality across commercial data. This is a pivotal role at the intersection of business processes and technology, enabling scalable analytics and AI capabilities.

• Define and maintain metadata, business definitions, ownership, stewardship, classifications, quality requirements, and certification criteria for critical data assets.
• Manage data catalog content, glossary entries, lineage documentation, and impact analysis to keep data assets discoverable and trustworthy.
• Establish governance standards,



accountability models, and processes for semantic models, governed data products, and enterprise reporting assets.
• Support adoption of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Snowflake with a focus on governed, reusable data assets.
• Analyze data with SQL and Snowflake, validate governance controls, and support quality and metadata monitoring.
• Collaborate with Data Architecture, Data Engineering, and Analytics teams to embed governance and monitoring in solution design.
• Profile data to assess quality, define quality rules and KPIs, and monitor critical business data.
• Lead root cause analysis and remediation of data quality issues, partnering with business and technical teams.
• Develop monitoring and scorecard solutions to show governance performance and commercial readiness. xqbhyrx
• Act as trusted advisor for system implementations, data integrations, and digital transformation where governance is critical.
