In this role you will underwrite surety solutions for Iberia and Europe, balancing risk with proactive client management. You’ll develop and manage a client portfolio, liaise with corporates and brokers, and support complex transactions within a leading global surety group. The role blends analytical risk assessment with direct client engagement in a collaborative, international environment. You will contribute to growth by identifying opportunities and adapting strategies to market and regulatory changes.Compensaciones / Beneficios• Conduct risk assessments for new and existing clients aligned with risk appetite and client satisfaction• Develop and manage your own client portfolio and transactions across Iberia and Europe• Analyse and evaluate credit and transactional risks with internal stakeholders via due diligence• Approve transactions within authority levels and prepare submissions for committees• Build and maintain strong client and broker relationships through proactive engagement• Support Senior Underwriters in execution and monitoring of complex bespoke transactions and key accounts• Conduct market analysis to identify changes in underwriting, market, and legal landscape and adapt strategies• Collaborate with the wider European Surety team to share knowledge and drive continuous improvementResponsabilidades• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in banking, surety insurance, or financial institutions with exposure to credit and guarantee products• Strong understanding of credit risks in surety/guarantee structures• Proven analytical and decision-making skills to assess complex risks xcskxlj and translate into recommendations• Confident communication and interpersonal skills with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders• Spanish native speaker with proficiency in English (written and verbal)Requisitos principales• performance-based annual bonus• hybrid work model (Li-Hybrid)• competitive base salary (€47,000–€78,000)• opportunity in a integral team• inclusive and flexible environment• career development in a leading surety groupHay opciones de teletrabajo/trabajo desde casa disponibles para este puesto.
