Design and analyze the experiments — A/B tests, holdouts, incrementality — that tell Rover what marketing actually works. You'll join Rover's Barcelona Marketing Analytics team as a senior individual contributor, bringing statistical rigor to questions like how much lift is real, how much is novelty, and how much is noise?
The Barcelona Marketing Analytics team's north star is simple: drive more repeat bookings and lengthen LTV across both pet parents and sitters. You'll report to the Manager of Marketing Analytics and partner with Lifecycle Marketing, Martech, and Analytics Engineering. This role rewards intellectual curiosity — our measurement work wrestles with real puzzles: mix-shift between markets, novelty-effect decay, holdout leakage, and interaction between transactional and marketing sends.
This is a hybrid role: we're in our Poblenou office two days a week (Mondays and Thursdays),
so you'll need to be based in Barcelona or willing to relocate.
Responsibilities

- Own experiments end-to-end. From scoping the hypothesis and picking the right measurement, to running the analysis, to writing up and socializing the result — including harder cross-channel and retargeting tests where the measurement isn't obvious.
- Advance our measurement framework. Lead incrementality work, stratified holdouts, and attribution-calibration refinement, and help figure out what comes next when our holdout strategy hits its limits.
- Scale how we test. Raise the bar on experimental design, sample-size rigor, and our testing cadence across marketing functions.
- Write SQL against large event-based datasets and pressure-test analytical approaches across the team.
- Root-cause the metrics, connecting experiment results to demand- and supply-side dynamics in a two-sided marketplace, and bring a
