What You Will DoAs a UX Researcher, you will conduct user research at the intersection of digital and physical machine experiences under the guidance of a Lead and/or Senior team members. You will be translating insights into actionable recommendations that improve Caterpillar products and services. You’ll collaborate with Expert Operators, Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to keep user needs central to decision-making.
You will also:
- Plan and conduct user research (surveys, in-depth interviews, contextual inquiries, eye tracking, and concept testing) with support from senior researchers.
- Synthesize real user behavior and feedback into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for design and product teams to improve our product and service features and/or develop new ones.
- Clarify operator, customer, and business needs and synthesize them to help support evidence‑based intera
