M&A; Analyst (Energy)
Location: Luca de Tena Office (Madrid)

Responsibilities

-
- Building and reviewing detailed financial models, including operating models, DCFs, merger and accretion/dilution analyses, valuation frameworks, and sensitivities.
- Performing valuation work using DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions and other relevant sector-specific approaches.
- Preparing high-quality client materials, including pitch books, strategic reviews, management presentations, information memoranda, board materials and internal approval documents.
- Supporting live transaction execution across M&A; and IPO processes, including due diligence coordination,



workstream management and interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
- Conducting detailed sector, company, investor and transaction analysis across the EMEA energy and energy transition space.
- Monitoring market developments, valuation trends, regulatory themes and investor activity across key sub-sectors.
- Supporting senior bankers on client dialogue, strategic analysis and origination ideas.

Qualifications

- Professional Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A;, ECM/IPO advisory or a similar transaction environment; strong execution experience on live transactions and ability to manage multiple workstreams under pressure; strong interest in, and ideally prior exposure to, the energy, power, utilities, infrastructure and/or energy transition sectors in EMEA (Preferred).
- Education: Undergraduate degree with a strong academic track record.
- Languages: Fluency
