Experteer Overview
In this role you drive strategic sourcing for Sanofi’s Digital domain, shaping category strategies and negotiations to deliver best-in-class savings. You’ll partner with Global Buyers and stakeholders to optimize the global procurement footprint, advance BOI improvements, and foster data-driven supplier partnerships. The position blends leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic thinking to support Sanofi’s mission of delivering breakthrough medicines. This is a global, high-impact role located in Barcelona with a hybrid work model.

• Build and execute sourcing initiatives aligned with budgets and long-range plans
• Define and implement category strategies in collaboration with category managers
• Lead general negotiations to optimize BOI and value, coordinating with stakeholders
• Share supplier market knowledge and explore new suppliers, technologies, substitution products
• Achieve savings targets and maintain a robust savings pipeline
• Coach Global Buyers on sourcing strategies, tactics, and market knowledge
• Communicate ongoing sourcing activities proactively within and outside the Domain




• Engage with other Procurement Domains to leverage shared services
• Manage supplier relationships with business reviews and performance management
• Ensure mastery of procurement technical excellence (TCO, SRM, Market Intel, Risk, CSR, HSE, compliance)
• Work with procurement services to leverage middle and back-office support
• Engage upfront with key Digital stakeholders and other GBUs
• Present procurement strategies to internal customers for input

Responsabilidades
• +5 years experience in Procurement or related field
• Master degree from an accredited college or university
• Fluent in English
• Strong negotiation skills and mastery of negotiation techniques
• Strategic thinking and innovative approach to business solutions
• Good understanding of business operations, legal aspects, SLAs, KPIs
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience managing complex, multi-functional matrix organizations
• Transversal management skills and high ethical standards
