A position of Thermo-Mechanical Engineer for Flight Units Assemblies is now open in Airbus CRISA (Airbus Defense & Space) in Tres Cantos (Madrid area) for different Space business: Launchers, Earth Exploration (Copernicus), Space Exploration (Artemis), Commercial (Telecommunications Satellites). In accordance with the proven Candidate skills, she/he will be part of Thermo-Mechanical Design team and will report/be supported by the relevant Team Leader.Functionally, the Candidate is also part of the Project, with the main mission of developing/designing electronic units for flight equipment to achieve the unit delivery in accordance with project schedule, cost and quality requirements. In a day-to-day basis, she/he will report to Project Manager. Within each project,



the tasks are coordinated by a Technical Responsible or a Physical Design Responsible in charge of direct reporting to the Project Manager.
The Engineer’s tasks comprise the complete development of an electronic equipment: from the analysis of the requirements to the final delivery of the flight model once accepted.
The successful applicant will be in charge of the following tasks:
- Support to the Technical Manager or Project Physical Design Responsible for the analysis of project requirements.
- Mechanical and Thermal Architecture analysis and design at module and unit level to assure the robustness of the design in the complete mission scenarios (compatible with mechanical loads, temperature range, radiation shielding…).
- Documentation of the design and analysis.
- Support to the Technical Manager or Project Physical Design Responsible in the main project reviews (Requirement Review,
