We are looking for a Record to Report Specialist to join our finance team in Barcelona. This role is suited to someone who wants to take ownership of key accounting and reporting activities in an international finance environment, while contributing to a business that is growing quickly and continuing to evolve its processes.
The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to take ownership of their work while collaborating closely with internal teams, external advisors, and auditors. Key Responsibilities

- Own key Record to Report activities, including general ledger accounting, journal entries, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, and month‑end close tasks.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly,
and annual financial reporting in compliance with Local GAAP, US GAAP, accounting standards, and internal policies.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure transactions are recorded accurately and aligned with internal and external reporting requirements.
- Work with other departments to ensure month‑end accruals and accounting entries are captured accurately and on time.
- Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) requirements.
- Work closely with local advisors to support statutory compliance requirements.
- Prepare and provide audit documentation to external auditors and assist in ensuring timely completion of audit requests.
