The accountabilities of this position will be applied on:

Developing the simulation SW to be included in the Embedded Training Solution of the SAETA 2 aircraft trainer.
Supporting the development and operation of the SAETA 2 Simulators
Supporting the design, development and deployment of the devices that compose the Ground Based Training System where all the future Spanish Combat Pilots will train. This activity includes Virtual Reality Training Devices.
Collaborate on feasibility studies investigating new features to optimize pilot trainings.

Your tasks consist of:

Requirements Engineering: Elicit, analyze, and document high‑level and low‑level software requirements, ensuring traceability and compliance with rigorous industry standards
Software Design: Lead the architectural and detailed design of complex software components, ensuring scalability,



reliability, and performance optimized for real‑time or near‑real‑time systems.
High‑Performance Development: Implement robust, efficient, and maintainable code using modern C++ standards.
Verification & Validation (V&V;): Define comprehensive test strategies, including unit, integration, and system‑level testing. Develop automated test suites to ensure software integrity.
System Integration: Perform hands‑on integration of software components into large‑scale simulators or avionics hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) environments.
Process Compliance: Adhere to and enforce strict software engineering processes and lifecycle models, ensuring all documentation and artifacts meet mission‑critical quality standards.
Mentorship & Review: Conduct rigorous peer code reviews and design reviews to maintain high coding standards and technical excellence within the team.
