In this role as Sales Manager you’re part of our Ewals Cargo Care team in Barcelona.

How will you make an impact?
In this role you excel in sales. We seek someone who can identify and develop new business and set up a new customer portfolio. You will have a direct impact on Cataluña and Levante area revenue goals. You’re part of a small team of 5 employees reporting into our Manager Sales.

The team has direct communication, it is very informal with a personal touch and supports each other in broader team goals.

What will you do?

- Pro-actively recruit new prospects and customers according to Ewals' commercial strategy.
- Ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities; meet potential clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network.
- Identify potential clients and the decision-makers within the client organization.
- Responsibility for the process and follow‑up of tenders.
- State‑of‑the‑art multimodal and road transport market knowledge to develop new business opportunities.
- Close cooperation with the operational team and the Region South sales department of Ewals Cargo Care.

How will you get there?

- You have a completed bachelor (HBO) education in the direction of Transport, Logistics, Commerce or Business Administration or your career shows experience in expanding sales or business development.
- You have commercial work experience in transportation solutions.
- You master the English language very well; Spanish is preferred.
- You have knowledge of Word and Excel.
