Overview of the role
Project Manager – responsible for managing your own projects or workstreams on major infrastructure projects, including development, design stages, delivery, and handover.
Key responsibilities and duties

Manage the development, design, delivery, and handover of built environment and infrastructure projects.
Apply and follow project governance protocols.
Develop and maintain a project management plan, ensuring projects are scoped to agreed objectives.
Identify and deliver project deliverables, ensuring cost, time, and quality parameters are achieved.
Coordinate with the H&S;&W; and CDM representatives to ensure health and safety compliance.
Establish stakeholder and communication management processes, including mapping and reporting with statutory and technical assurance bodies.
Collaborate with commercial, procurement, and project control functions to deliver projects within agreed parameters.
Assess resource and competence levels of supply chain teams, taking required actions to ensure performance.
Administer NEC contracts for professionals and contractors, ensuring contractually successful outcomes.

Candidate specification

Essential:

Willingness to travel to Dublin weekly or bi‑weekly, with travel and accommodation covered.
Substantial project management experience across disciplines, procurement routes, and market sectors.
High commercial acumen and knowledge of planning and project controls.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a larger team.
Strong IT skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.




Excellent communication skills, including report writing and presentations.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, colleagues, and supply chain.
Versátil approach to work and openness to travel to client sites and other offices.

Desirable:

Experience in the Spanish market.
Experience leading large project teams to successful outcomes.
Membership or progression toward APM (or PMI) qualification.
