Club Canary is a tour agency based in Costa Adeje, Tenerife, specialized in excursions, private boat trips, and luxury experiences across the Canary Islands. Our office is located in Centro Comercial Plaza del Duque. We offer internships for university students in Tourism, Sales & Marketing.
About the internship
You work with real clients and real bookings from your first month. Our guests contact us themselves through live chat, WhatsApp and email, there is no cold calling or anything like that in this role.
Your responsibilities:
- Assist international clients with planning and booking their excursions and private trips.
- Manage reservations for boat trips, water sports, shows and transfers in our booking systems.
- Write clear, friendly client emails and live chat responses in English.
- Coordinate special requests such as proposals, birthdays and group bookings.
- Maintain good relationships with our local partners across Tenerife.
- Work with modern AI tools that support our daily operations.
- Contribute to sales through upselling, with tips and bonus opportunities.
What we offer
- Structured training program with video academy and exams.
- Compensation based on internship length: 400€/month (6–9 months), 600€/month (10–13 months), 800€/month (14+ months). Internships of 3–5 months are unpaid learning phases.
- Free participation in Club Canary activities as part of your training: boat trips, stargazing tours, island tours and water sports (average value 325€–1.200€ depending on length of stay).
- Regular team events throughout the year: team dinners, boat days and outings.
- 35 hours per week, 5 days, with 2 days off weekly and 2 extra holiday days per month.
- Erasmus+ and university grant support, including all required paperwork.
- Possibility of a job offer after a successful internship.
