Madrid | Working from home up to 40% | Reference 8115 We're looking for a Java Backend Engineer to join our agile and self-organized engineering team, building innovative solutions for our Repo customers.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for a greenfield platform using modern Java technologies. Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business needs. Integrate and coordinate with external systems and teams, working with MQ, Elasticsearch, relational databases, APIs, and OpenShift.

Ensure software quality through automated testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices.



3-5 years of experience developing enterprise applications with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and the Spring ecosystem with experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrating with external systems and services. ~ Hands-on experience with messaging technologies (MQ and/or Kafka), relational databases, Redis, and Liquibase. ~ Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Docker, OpenShift, CI/CD pipelines, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD). ~ Solid testing mindset with experience using JUnit and a commitment to writing reliable, maintainable code. ~ Good level and fluency in both verbal and written English.
