As we continue our international growth, we are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to be based in Madrid, Spain, providing strategic financial leadership across our integral operations.

The Role

The CFO will be a key member of INTEC’s executive leadership team and a strategic partner to the Chairman, CEO and Board of Directors. The role will lead the Group’s financial strategy, governance and performance while supporting the commercial and financial management of complex international EPC and renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will combine strategic financial leadership with strong commercial and project-based business expertise, ideally gained within renewable energy, EPC, construction, engineering, infrastructure or utilities. Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the Group’s financial strategy in alignment with INTEC’s international growth objectives.

Act as a strategic financial advisor to the Chairman, CEO, Board and executive leadership team.

Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and consolidated management reporting.

Provide executive-level visibility on revenue, EBITDA, profitability, project margins, cash flow, working capital and financial risks.

Oversee the financial performance of international EPC, Solar PV, BESS and renewable energy projects, including project accounting, cost-to-complete, margin forecasting and project cash-flow management.

Partner with Project Management, Commercial, Procurement, Engineering and Construction teams to strengthen financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Support tenders, investments and major commercial decisions through financial modelling, pricing,



feasibility analysis and contract-risk assessment.

Lead treasury, liquidity, working-capital and capital-allocation strategies across the Group.

Lead relationships with banks, lenders, investors, insurers, analysts, advisors and other capital partners, supporting debt facilities, equity raising and broader funding strategies required for the Group’s growth.

Strengthen financial governance, internal controls, IFRS compliance, audit readiness and risk-management frameworks across international operations.

Drive improvements in EBITDA, profitability, cost efficiency and working-capital performance.

Build, lead and develop a high-performing international finance organisation.

Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of ERP and financial systems, processes, policies and reporting frameworks.

Support strategic growth initiatives, including new-market expansion, partnerships, M&A; and capital-raising activities.

Lead finance readiness for a potential future IPO, ensuring that systems, governance, reporting, controls and financial processes meet the standards expected of a listed organisation.

Apply prior IPO or listed-company experience to strengthen financial reporting, investor readiness, Board reporting, audit processes and risk-management maturity.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.

CPA, ACCA, ACA, CFA or equivalent professional qualification strongly preferred; an MBA would be advantageous.

15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including experience as a CFO, Finance Director, Deputy CFO or equivalent senior financial leader.

Strong preference for experience within renewable energy, EPC, construction,



engineering, infrastructure or utilities.

Strong understanding of EPC commercial models, project accounting, project finance, contract risk and project cash-flow management.

Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, treasury, liquidity and working-capital management.

Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial governance, internal controls, audit and compliance.

Demonstrated experience working with banks, lenders, investors and other financial stakeholders.

Proven experience managing finance across multiple countries, legal entities and cultures.

Previous experience supporting an IPO, pre-IPO readiness programme or listed-company finance environment is strongly preferred.

Experience in ERP/finance transformation, M&A;, corporate finance or capital raising would be advantageous.

Full professional proficiency in English; Spanish and/or additional languages would be an advantage.
