Responsibilities / What you will do
- Lead and support the development of scalable cloud infrastructure, with an emphasis on automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Characterise and optimise system performance properties (e.g., uptime, deployment speed, security protocols, and cost-efficiency).
- Conduct experimental testing and analysis of CI/CD pipelines, cloud configurations, and deployment feedstocks.
- Collaborate with software developers and design teams to ensure infrastructure performance aligns with end-use applications.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure databases, security standards, and qualification processes for cloud environments.
- Support R&D; projects, contributing to technical reports regarding cloud architecture and system scalability.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, DevOps tools, and industry standards in automated manufacturing environments.
