Compensation: Competitive, according to experience.

We are seeking a Head of Investor Relations to join our dynamic, rapidly growing, and innovative organisation.

We aspire to increase reliable, affordable and sustainable energy, thereby mitigating climate change. Our MISSION is to accelerate the transition to clean energy by unlocking renewable energy markets to scalable private investments at lower prices, promoting sustainable economic development for the people.

We are very proud of our prominent Board of Advisors, which includes well-known personalities from the global renewable energy, climate, and business sectors. They are: Michael Liebreich, Rachel Kyte, Rebecca Collyer, Angelina Galiteva, David Rogers, Daniel Magallón, Charles Bai, and Felix Zhang as part of our team and board. We are funded by philanthropic organisations, including the Rockefeller Foundation, Quadrature Climate Foundation, Ballmer Group, European Climate Foundation, Packard Foundation, IKEA Foundation, Oak Foundation, Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet, and Good Energies Foundation through Climate Breakthrough.

The candidate's main focus will be to spearhead comprehensive capital mobilisation efforts across various funding structures, while aligning meticulous impact analytics and ESG compliance with the expectations of an elite international investor base. You will succeed in this role if you can cultivate a robust portfolio of high-calibre institutional partners, articulate the value of intricate blended finance models through compelling advocacy, and orchestrate a precise engagement strategy that drives capital deployment from multilateral banks, philanthropic entities, and private offices.

If you like challenges, are passionate about renewable energy, and are looking for a job with a meaningful impact, RELP will be a great fit for you!

How you will contribute:

- Fundraising & Capital Formation

In close collaboration with the MD, manage end-to-end fundraising for current, future, and successor funds, co-investment vehicles, and continuity/exit options.

Develop and execute targeted roadshows and investor dialogues tailored to the risk/return profile of concessional instruments and catalytic capital facilitation.

Build and maintain a dynamic CRM and forecasting model to manage engagement, commitments, and funding velocities; maintain realistic fundraising timelines and milestones.

Structure and articulate fund theses around de-risking strategies, guarantees, guarantees-enabled credit enhancements,

and blended finance constructs to attract MDBs, DFIs, sovereigns, GCF, philanthropies, family offices, DAFs, HNWIs, and impact-first investors.

- Impact & Sustainability Integration

Direct the synthesis of ESG and impact reporting, bridging development indicators—such as catalytic multipliers and avoided credit losses—with sophisticated financial performance metrics including IRR and DPI.

Maintain rigorous adherence to integral benchmarks, including the IFC Performance Standards and Operating Principles for Impact Management, while tracking progress against internal impact objectives.

Develop sophisticated narratives and evidence-based case studies that illustrate the nexus between innovative financing and real-world outcomes, focusing on LCOE reductions and the expedited deployment of green infrastructure.

- Investor Relations & Communications

In close collaboration with the MD, liaise with existing and prospective LPs; address complex inquiries on capital calls, distributions, valuations, and impact reporting.

Lead preparation of investor materials (private placement memoranda, DDQs, annual/quarterly letters, news) and coordinate AGMs or investor days.

Manage due diligence processes with prospective investors, ensuring timely responses and high-quality documentation.

Cultivate a trusted, long-term investor base by delivering transparent updates on fund performance, capital deployment, and risk management.

- Strategic Leadership & Compliance

Collaborate with legal, finance, and investment teams to guarantee reporting precision, compliance with fund formation protocols, and rigorous governance (LPAs, covenants, and side letters).

Synthesize investor perspectives to refine organisational strategy, market positioning, and the structural design of financial products.

Analyse market intelligence regarding capital flows, appetite for concessional risk, and shifting policy landscapes to provide senior management with actionable strategic insights.

- Portfolio & Market Focus

Articulate the unique fund thesis regarding de-risking mechanisms and guarantee facilities within emerging and sub-sovereign market landscapes.

Monitor evolving shifts in blended finance, credit enhancement frameworks, and concessional capital trends to align with international investor expectations.

- Partner with investment and impact colleagues to synthesize portfolio risk analytics and demonstrate stable, evidence-based performance to institutional partners.

What you will bring:

- 10 years in investor relations, capital raising, institutional sales, or financial communications, with deep exposure to private markets and development impact investing. Prior direct work with MDBs/DFIs or sovereign-backed programmes is highly desirable.
- Established, credible relationships with a broad set of global LPs including MDBs, DFIs, sovereigns, GCF, philanthropies, family offices, DAFs, HNWIs, and impact investors.

- Familiarity with impact metrics, ESG frameworks, and impact reporting standards; track record of producing credible impact reports.
- Proven ability to lead multi-stakeholder processes, manage multiple PMs, and meet fundraising milestones on tight timelines.
- Committed to high standards of governance, transparency, and ethical engagement with public-sector and philanthropic capital.

Preferred skills:
