You’ll own critical components of the close process, assist in system implementation, and collaborate cross-functionally to streamline accounting processes. and monthly close schedulesSupport the preparation of financial statements and management reportingPartner with the Director of Accounting and Controller to bring accounting processes in-houseAssist with ERP and financial systems implementation (Net Suite experience preferred)Reconcile cash, AR/AP, fixed assets, and inter-company transactionsCoordinate with external auditors and tax advisorsCollaborate with Operations and Product teams to ensure proper accounting for new initiativesIdentify opportunities for automation and process improvementEnsure compliance with U. S. GAAP and company policiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA candidate preferred)3–6 years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting or startup experience a plus)CERT C1 English proficiency requiredStrong understanding of U. S. GAAP and month-end close proceduresHands-on experience with ERP systems;
Net Suite experience preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience documenting processes and supporting system implementationsComfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environmentThis position is hybrid based out of our Barcelona office located near la Barceloneta.
