Job SummaryThe Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating our export shipment function at every stage of the process. This will involve arranging LCL, FCL and air shipments as well as managing transactions and tasks to reduce total transportation costs and meet government requirements. This position may require occasional evening and weekend hours.Key Job ResponsibilitiesManage export transactions for projectsReceive, review, process international shipments and ensure all documentation is accurate and completeManage the freight quote processWork with freight forwarders to provide timely, accurate and competitive quotesOrganize and file customs commercial documentationConsolidate freight where applicable and negotiate best transportation ratesCommunicate shipment status to Project Management, including shortages and schedule changesMaintain communication with suppliers and review export processesProcess logistics requests and ensure timely follow-upDetermine optimal solutions to issues of damaged,
