OverviewGrand Hyatt Barcelona, one of the city’s newest and most prestigious luxury hotels, is looking for a qualified, proactive, and service‑orientedMaintenance Technicianto join our Engineering team.In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and reliable operation of the hotel’selectrical systems, ensuring safety, efficiency, and uninterrupted service across guestrooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house facilities.If you have strong electrical expertise and take pride in maintaining a flawless environment in a high‑end setting, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career within a world‑class hospitality brand.ResponsibilitiesInspection, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems throughout the hotel, including but not limited to:Performing preventive and corrective electrical maintenance across the propertyTroubleshooting and repairing lighting systems, power outlets, switchboards, electrical panels, circuits, and wiringMaintaining emergency lighting systems and backup power infrastructure (UPS and generator support)Ensuring proper operation of electrical components connected to HVAC systems, kitchen equipment, technical installations, and guestroom appliancesResponding promptly and professionally to electrical incidents and maintenance requestsReading and interpreting electrical schematics, technical drawings, and manualsAssisting with energy efficiency and electrical consumption control initiativesEnsuring full compliance with electrical regulations, safety standards, and hotel policiesAccurately documenting maintenance activities and updating maintenance logs and work ordersSupporting emergency situations with a calm, safety‑focused,



and solution‑oriented approachCoordinating with external contractors and suppliers when specialized support is requiredMaintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized conditionQualificationsExperiencia demostrable comoTécnico/a de Mantenimiento Eléctricoo Electricista, preferiblemente en hoteles, edificios grandes o instalaciones complejasConocimientos sólidos de instalaciones eléctricas, diagnóstico de averías y reparacionesFormación técnica y/o certificación en Electricidad o Electromecánica (imprescindible o muy valorada)Capacidad analítica y de resolución de problemas, con atención al detalleAutonomía en el trabajo y capacidad de colaboración en equipoMentalidad de servicio y sensibilidad hacia la experiencia del huéspedFlexibilidad horaria para trabajar en turnos rotativos, incluyendo fines de semana y festivosActitud profesional y fuerte compromiso con la seguridad y el cumplimiento normativoDominio del español;
