Role overview The Product Operations Lead – Domain Services enables the reliable, scalable, and compliant operation of domain products by owning cross-functional operational complexity that spans Product Management, Engineering, Support, Finance, Security, Legal, Procurement, and external partners such as registries, resellers, and vendors.
This role focuses on the continuous improvement of product-adjacent operational processes, including (but not limited to)



domain lifecycle events such as registrations, renewals, transfers, suspensions and recoveries;
supplier and registry onboarding and performance management;
regulatory and accreditation readiness (e.G. ICANN requirements);
and platform operational readiness from a product and partner integration perspective. It acts as the coordination and enablement layer, ensuring that complex, multi-team initiatives and systemic issues are aligned, prioritised, and resolved efficiently, while execution remains with the appropriate delivery teams.
The role is internally and partner facing, strategic in nature, and distinct from Service Desk, Incident Management, and Change Management functions. It does not own customer ticket handling, incident execution, or release delivery, but ensures those functions are operationally enabled and aligned from a product perspective.
