About the Company We are looking for a highly motivated Analyst to join a fast-paced investment platform focused on real estate, non-performing loans, bankruptcy claims, direct lending and other special situations opportunities.
About the Role The Analyst will join the team and will learn the foundational skills for a career in private market investing. The program's objective is to equip the Analyst with the competencies required for advancement to a Senior Analyst position, with a target timeline of 18-24 months based on performance. The role involves progressively increasing responsibilities under the direct guidance and supervision of the Senior Analyst and Manager of the team..
Responsibilities Deal Screening & Investment Pipeline
Maintain and update the proprietary investment pipeline
Organize and manage transaction documentation
Prepare deal summaries, teasers, and internal briefing materials
Support meetings with sellers, borrowers, advisors, and counterparties Investment Analysis & Underwriting
Build and maintain financial models, recovery scenarios, and sensitivity analyses
Support underwriting of proprietary investments
Analyze legal, financial, and asset-level information
Assist in the preparation of Investment Committee memoranda and presentations Transaction Execution
Support the execution and closing of investment transactions
Coordinate information flows among internal departments and external advisors
Track key milestones, conditions precedent, and transaction timelines
Assist with post-closing integration and handover processes Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting
Support monthly and quarterly investment reporting
Maintain performance trackers, KPIs, risk metrics, and legal status reports
Prepare materials for the Investment Committee and senior management
Assist with business plans and portfolio analytics when required Third-Party Portfolio Advisory
Support advisory mandates for institutional investors and portfolio buyers
Participate in due diligence processes
Develop portfolio models, business plans, and valuation analyses
Assist in preparing investment recommendations and client deliverables Qualifications Full professional fluency in English and Spanish (mandatory)
Immediate availability Required Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modelling
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word
Understanding of
Financial statement analysis
Discounted cash flow (DCF) valuation
Real estate valuation methodologies
Spanish foreclosure and insolvency processes
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams
Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and integrity
