Glycosyltransferase inhibitors.

Bacterial mucinases.

Tumour-associated Tn and STn glycans.

Antibodies, nanobodies and immunotherapeutic strategies.

X-ray crystallography, cryo-EM, NMR, AFM and molecular modelling.



Candidate profile Degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biomedicine or a related discipline.

Undergraduate average grade above 8.5/10.

Excellent academic record.

Strong motivation to undertake a PhD in an interdisciplinary and international research environment.

Interest in glycobiology, structural biology, enzymology or biomedical research.
