THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE Rates Structuring & Client Solutions within Global Markets is looking for an Associate based out of Madrid.

We deliver bespoke Rates and Cross-Asset solutions that help institutional clients manage regulatory, accounting, funding and economic challenges across both sides of the balance sheet. Our team is merit-based, with early exposure to clients and the ability to run your own trades and projects as soon as possible. We’re shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:

Price rates derivatives, structured notes, repacks, repos and bespoke funding solutions, as well as relevant XVA and other valuation adjustments

Produce quality generic and bespoke presentations for client pitches

Show understanding of markets,



generate trade ideas and help analyze market moves and dislocations

Manage and understand regulatory capital and other financial resources that in addition to regulatory expertise are fundamental in delivering internally and externally for clients

Create tools and systems to automate pricing, monitor markets and improve efficiency

Engage with clients along with Sales to help understand their challenges and develop bespoke solutions

Professional Experience Understanding of and interest in financial markets (Required)

Experience in pricing derivatives and bonds (Required)

Education

Finance or otherwise quantitative degree (Required)

Languages

English (Required)

Spanish (Preferred)

Hard Skills

High proficiency in use of MS Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) and further data analysis tools

Coding experience, e.g. Python (Preferred)

Soft Skills

Analytical

Self driven, entrepreneurial

Enthusiastic about financial markets

Commercial – ability to interact with clients and internal stakeholders require
