Our Creative

Studio is the in-house team behind Preply's video and motion content, from brand campaigns to product and organic channels. As a Video Editor (P5) focused on long-form YouTube content, you'll join the studio and work closely with our cinematographer, motion designers, and Brand, Supply, and Marketing teams to turn raw footage into compelling long-form stories, from interviews and tutorials to talking-head and podcast-style content. Own end-to-end editing of medium (5+ minutes) and long-form YouTube videos (10+ minutes), turning raw footage from shoots and interviews into clear, well-paced stories: structure, selects, and rhythm.

Make first calls on structure, selects, music, and pacing, and review with stakeholders and creative team for brand alignment.

Handle the full audio pass on your projects: dialogue clean-up and levelling, music selection that fits Preply's tone, simple sound design, and mixing to delivery specs. Manage colour correction and grading for a consistent, on-brand look, including footage from mixed sources (multiple cameras, screen recordings, archive).



Use our motion design team's existing templates and graphic assets to add lower thirds, captions, end screens, and simple overlays, comfortably applying and lightly customizing templates in After Effects and/or Premiere Pro and building simple graphics that enhance your storytelling.

Keep your projects organized, so anyone on the team could pick up where you left off. 7+ years of experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio of long-form content (10+ minute videos): interviews, documentary-style, tutorials, or podcasts. ~ Solid audio post skills: dialogue editing, music selection, basic sound design, and mixing to delivery specs. ~ Comfort applying motion graphic templates (lower thirds, captions, simple overlays) in After Effects and/or Premiere Pro. Motion design or animation experience is a plus. ~ Strong communication skills and comfort working autonomously while staying aligned with brand and creative direction. Familiarity with YouTube long-form conventions, pacing for watch time and retention, is a plus.
