If you combine strong data science and machine learning capabilities with the ability to translate complex technical solutions into real business value for customers, and if you are motivated by leading end-to-end implementations that sit at the intersection of cutting-edge AI and the world's most critical financial crime challenges, ThetaRay could be your next challenge.ResponsibilitiesDeliver successful deployment and PilotsManage and design the Customer-specific technical solution throughout the project life cycleTechnical leadership of Data Science and engineering aspects and team members including partnersWork on various data sources and apply sophisticated feature engineering capabilitiesBring and use business knowledgeExtract insights and actionable recommendations from large volumes of data and Investigate anomalies in Big DataBuild and manage technical relationships with customers and partnersProvide product requirements input to the Product Management teamTrain the customers on the system – system usage and monitoring aspectsTravel to customer locations both domestically and abroadRequirements2+ years of experience as a data scientist/data engineer/big-data developerBSc or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or another related fieldMust have proven professional experience in data analytics for financial services with strong data mining and forensic skillsExperience working with customers - an advantageMust have Hands-on experience and knowledge of scripting languages: Python/PySpark as well as DS workflow management tools including MLflow, Airflow, etc.Experience in NLP or Graph Algorithms - an advantageWorking experience with Linux OS - an advantageFluent English and French - written and spokenCore CompetenciesAble to solve tech problems for customers; improvise; cope with unexpected challengesAble to drive relevant internal functions to deliver/solve a problem for customers/partnersA motivated, self-starter who can demonstrate high analytical and technical skillsAbility to design creative solutions for complex requirementsAbility to learn and lead projects independently, and to work with minimal supervision with customers (tech & business)Strong interpersonal relationship buildingAbility to execute multiple projects and drive key business results under tight deadlines
