We are looking for a Senior Electrical AIT Engineer to lead spacecraft electrical Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) activities across the full project lifecycle, from subsystem integration through to launch campaign support. This role carries strong ownership of the planning and procedural side of AIT — defining how integration and test activity is structured before it reaches the floor — with remote/hybrid flexibility available for planning-heavy phases of work.Key ResponsibilitiesLead spacecraft electrical AIT activities for flight hardware across the project lifecycleDefine and plan spacecraft electrical integration, functional verification, and test campaigns, from subsystem integration through to launch campaign supportSpecify, develop, validate, and maintain Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE)Author, review, and approve AIT documentation, including Integration Procedures, Test Procedures, Test Plans, and Test ReportsCoordinate cross-functional teams during integration and test campaigns, ensuring alignment with schedule, quality, and safety requirementsSupport environmental test campaigns (vibration, thermal vacuum, EMC, etc.), including electrical setup, functional testing, troubleshooting, and anomaly resolutionCarry out electrical integration tasks: harness installation,



connector mating/demating, electrical inspections, continuity checks, functional verificationLead anomaly investigation, root-cause analysis, and non-conformance resolutionEnsure alignment with ECSS-equivalent standards, client requirements, and AIT best practiceProvide technical mentorship to junior engineers and techniciansWhat We’re Looking For5+ years’ experience in spacecraft AIT or a closely related discipline, including flight-hardware projectsStrong grounding in spacecraft electrical integration, harness architecture, interfaces, and functional verificationExperience specifying, developing, and operating EGSEFamiliarity with ECSS, MIL-STD, or equivalent aerospace quality standardsConfident use of electrical test equipment and lab instrumentationDemonstrated ownership of electrical AIT activity across a full project lifecycleExposure to Earth Observation missions and/or launch vehicles is an advantageBackground in the aerospace sectorEuropean space programme exposure is an advantageFamiliarity with verification activity in later development phases (pre-flight/qualification)Strong troubleshooting ability and structured problem-solving approach
