OverviewOur client is a global leader within the fragrance industry with a truly global presence and manufacturing facilities all over the world.This role can be based in Spain, the United Kingdom or Dubai. Travel time is 30-40%.Reporting directly into the top level of the organisation, this position will have responsibility for developing and implementing global operations strategy. This role will manage and guide local Operations Managers to implement operational strategic initiatives and projects, process and efficiency improvements, and to ensure all sites meet integral manufacturing standards and operate in a safe environment.ResponsibilitiesGlobal Operations StrategyDevelop and implement global operations strategy, driving standardisation and optimisation across all sitesExplore and prepare Industry 4.0 strategies with a focus on digitization and customer connectivityDevelop and deploy manufacturing standards to drive factories to best-in-class performance across safety, quality, reliability, service, productivity and lead timesGlobal ProductionDrive rapid and consistent production process improvements to ensure delivery on time in full, to quality standards and with the most effective use of resourcesImplement manufacturing best practice to deliver significant improvements in manufacturing margin, health and safety,

Global experience is a must, with a multi-site background. Strong leadership and the ability to work strategically as well as hands-on at production sites is required. Experience with modern ERP systems, digitalisation and driving continuous improvement within global manufacturing is also key.
