Experteer Overview
In this role you drive growth for Illumina's Human Array portfolio in the Mediterranean by managing strategic deals, building partnerships, and guiding cross-functional execution. You will act as the commercial subject matter expert for arrays, workflows, and software, while fostering long-term customer relationships and thought leadership. The position combines regional strategy, campaign leadership, and market insights to expand revenue and margins. This is a high-impact, collaborative role with travel to engage key accounts and shape regional success.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Manage end-to-end customer relationships, portfolio stewardship, and intelligence gathering in human array markets
• Develop strategic plans to win new business, grow market share, and maintain a qualified pipeline
• Identify and pursue large opportunities ($1M+) with tailored solutions
• Lead by example in campaign planning, regional marketing activities, and customer engagement
• Maintain broad market knowledge and monitor trends, competition, and tactics
• Build and sustain long-term customer relationships across all levels
• Provide thought leadership and promote innovative approaches to customer challenges
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the Illumina selling model
Responsabilidades
• Significant sales or customer-facing experience
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to discuss problems and solutions with customers
• Independent and strategically minded
• Experience with DNA microarray technology, genotyping, or other genomic technologies
• Basic product commercialization experience
• Team-oriented with excellent collaboration skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; SFDC and JDE knowledge a plus
• Willingness to travel up to 50-60%
