We are looking for a Senior MuleSoft Platform Engineer to join an international, cross-functional technology environment.In this role, you will be responsible for the operation, reliability, scalability, automation, and continuous improvement of a MuleSoft integration platform.This is a platform operations position rather than an API development role. You will focus on maintaining and improving the MuleSoft ecosystem, automating repetitive operational activities, managing platform capacity, supporting major incidents, and implementing self-healing and auto-remediation solutions.You will work with technologies such as MuleSoft Flex Gateway, Terraform, OpenShift, ArgoCD, GitHub, AWS, and Azure, while collaborating with internal teams, external providers, and international stakeholders.If you enjoy platform engineering, automation, infrastructure, operational excellence, and solving complex production challenges, this could be a great fit.What you’ll doManage and operate the MuleSoft platform, ensuring availability, reliability, scalability, and optimal performanceDesign, develop, and maintain automation scripts to reduce manual operational effortIdentify repetitive platform activities and drive automation initiatives using Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting, or platform-specific toolsImplement self-healing and auto-remediation mechanisms for recurring operational failuresManage MuleSoft Flex Gateway / Omni Gateway environmentsOwn platform capacity management, including utilisation monitoring, growth forecasting, and capacity planningMonitor platform health, resource consumption, performance, and availabilityIdentify recurring incidents and technical issues, carrying out root cause analysis and continuous service improvement initiativesSupport major incidents, service restoration activities, and production troubleshootingManage infrastructure and platform configuration using TerraformWork with OpenShift and ArgoCD to support containerised platform environments and GitOps-based deploymentsMaintain GitHub repositories, version control processes,
and automation workflowsSupport authentication and authorisation mechanisms, including OAuth and OpenID ConnectCollaborate with infrastructure, security, networking, development, support teams, and external providersProduce technical documentation, operational runbooks, knowledge articles, and capacity reportsTransfer technical knowledge and operational deliverables to support teamsFacilitate technical discussions and workshops with stakeholders in an international and multicultural environmentQualifications5–7 years of experience in MuleSoft platform management and platform operationsStrong experience operating and maintaining MuleSoft environmentsHands-on experience with MuleSoft Flex Gateway / Omni GatewayExperience focused on platform operations, infrastructure, reliability, or administration rather than only API developmentStrong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as CodeHands-on experience with OpenShiftExperience with ArgoCD and GitOps practicesProficiency with GitHub and version control workflowsExperience developing operational automation using Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting, or similar technologiesExperience with platform monitoring, performance management, capacity planning, and utilisation forecastingKnowledge of authentication and authorisation mechanisms, including OAuth and OpenID ConnectFoundational knowledge of AWSFoundational knowledge of Microsoft AzureKnowledge of ITIL processes and service management practicesExperience supporting production environments, major incidents, and service restoration activitiesStrong stakeholder management, communication, and technical information synthesis skillsAbility to work autonomously within international and cross-functional teamsDegree in Computer Science, Engineering,
