Engineering Oil & Gas Company is looking for a Maritime Works Engineer - Afungi SiteMissionPerform technical tasks assigned by PSL, related with design, quantities estimation, verification, study for maritime worksEnsure interface with other Project Specialists, Designers and other Departments, Process, Construction, Fabrication and TransportPrepare technical specification and documentation for steel structure material and maritime equipments requisition and support the procurement dept. in technical evaluationsCoordinate activities performed inside or outside the CompanyTasksThe Engineer executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirementsTasks include:A-Development Technology know how and Commercial supportB-FeasibilityProvide technical supportPrepare list of deliverables and develop sketches for studiesPrepare material quantities (BOQs) and weights (MTOs) estimationPrepa re maritime equipments list and cost estimationD-Project Execution (Job progress and completion)Review Client technical documentation and requirementsSet up and execute assigned activities related to production of drawings and assessment of quantityPrepare sketches for studies and pre-design of maritime works, pursuing objectivies of sound design practice and optimises in term of costs,



fabrication simplicity and safetyControl of subcontracted maritime works engineering documents inside or outside the CompanySet up and execute assigned engineering activities such as detail design, verification and studies relevant to any engineering topic associated to Discipline, pursuing objectives of sound engineering and design optimisation in term of costs and fabrication simplicityPrepare design specifications for reinforced concrete, maritime steel structures, piling, sheet-piles, mooring system worksDevelop layout of maritime structuresPrepare material spec. for maritime structuresLiaise with Method Department for set-up of the construction sequence to check maritime structures during temporary phasesDevelop studies for maritime and concrete structuresPrepare MTOs and BOQsPrepare S.O.W. and technical specification for maritime construction subcontractsPrepare technical documentation for maritime material requisition and assists the procurement dept. in the technical evaluationsSupervise/Approve maritime civil structure design, plot plans of maritime structures and associated piling dwgs issued by Designers and DraftsmenMaintain project technical files for maritime structuresMonitor trend of maritime works quantities with respect to bidE-Construction and start upProvide support field engineering at siteRequirementsLanguages: Advanced English Level is a must2–3 years of offshore experience in the same position.
