Continuous Improvement Engineer

Your challenge

- As Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will be a key driver in the further professionalization of our manufacturing organization. You will identify opportunities, initiate improvements and lead projects from idea to implementation.
- Lead and implement continuous improvement projects across extrusion, beaming, weaving, finishing and recycling operations.
- Analyse production data and operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Translate insights into practical actions that improve productivity, quality and efficiency.
- Optimize production processes, reduce change-over times and minimize downtime.
- Support initiatives aimed at increasing OEE and improving manufacturing performance.
- Drive projects focused on energy efficiency, sustainability and cost optimization.
- Challenge existing ways of working and stimulate a culture of continuous improvement.




- Proactively identify operational risks and develop preventive solutions.
- Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions where required.
- Follow developments and best practices within manufacturing and share this knowledge internally.
- Spend at least 50% of your time on the production floor, working closely with operators and production teams.
- Act as a sparring partner for production, technology and management.
- Report directly to the Technology Manager.

Your profile

- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent through experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a passion for translating data into operational improvements.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel; experience with Power BI is considered an asset.
- Experience with Lean, Continuous Improvement methodologies or project management is a plus.
- Hands-on, pragmatic and result-oriented mindset.
- Ability to take ownership and drive projects to successful implementation.
- Comfortable challenging established practices and bringing people along in change processes.
- Fluent in English and Dutch or French.
