Time to Help Belgium is a Brussels-based non-profit organisation working to support vulnerable
communities in Belgium and internationally through humanitarian aid, social inclusion, education,
health, development and community-based projects.
As part of our growing activities and European project development efforts, Time to Help Belgium is
looking for a motivated EU Funding & Project Management Intern to join our team in Brussels.
Profile
We are looking for a candidate who:
● Is a university student or graduate, preferably in European Studies, International Relations, Political
Science, Public Administration, Economics, International Law, Development Studies, Social Sciences
or a related field;
● Has a strong interest in EU institutions, EU funding programmes, European policies and NGO projects;
● Has good research, analytical and organisational skills;
● Is proactive, creative and willing to take initiative;
● Has the ability to learn quickly and work effectively both independently and within a team;
● Has good written and spoken English;
● Has good communication and interpersonal skills;
● Is motivated to work in a multicultural and international environment.
Main Responsibilities
The intern will support the Time to Help Belgium team in areas including:
● Identifying and mapping relevant EU funding programmes, grants, subsidies and calls for proposals;
● Monitoring upcoming EU funding opportunities and application deadlines;
● Supporting the preparation and development of EU project proposals and funding applications;
● Conducting research related to EU policies, humanitarian aid, social inclusion, education,
development and other relevant areas;
● Identifying potential European and international project partners;
● Supporting communication and coordination with NGOs, institutions, public authorities and other
stakeholders;
● Assisting with project planning, implementation and reporting;
● Supporting the organisation of project-related meetings, workshops, events and activities;
● Preparing project summaries, reports, presentations and other relevant documentation;
● Supporting institutional relations and partnership development.

Potential for a Paid Position
