JOB DESCRIPTION

- The Test Specialist Senior & Functional Test Lead supports Client in the planning, coordination and execution of test activities within projects and application teams. The profile monitors the quality of the test execution, coordinates test activities between business, analysts, developers and suppliers and ensures a structured follow-up of test results, risks and defects.
- The profile takes a leading role in functional, integration, acceptance and end-to-end testing and contributes to efficient collaboration between all parties involved. In addition, the profile supports the further professionalization of the test operation through knowledge sharing, coaching and the application of best practices in the field of test approach, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
- Client LOB Datebeheer wishes to deploy a multidisciplinary test team to support both projects and agile development teams. The team combines expertise in test coordination, functional and technical testing, quality management, Quality Engineering and test automation.
- The team is responsible for the execution and coordination of testing activities, supports the further development of a quality-oriented and shift-left testing approach and formulates pragmatic recommendations on test processes, test levels, governance and automation.
- The team has combined experience in functional testing, integration and end-to-end testing, regression testing, release validation, API testing and CI/CD testing. In addition, the team has proven knowledge of Tricentis Tosca,



Tosca architecture and best practices in enterprise test automation.
- The team works closely with business, IT, suppliers and the existing Client test organisation to further increase the quality and reliability of software deliveries.

SKILLS

MUST HAVE

- Demonstrable experience as a tester in an Agile/Scrum
- Demonstrable experience as a Test Specialist
- Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance in complex enterprise environments.
- Demonstrable experience in developing tests in a test management tool (preferably Jira)
- Demonstrated experience with formal testing methods and techniques
- The candidate can demonstrate during an interview that he/she has the necessary communication skills and hands-on mentality
- Experience as a Test Coordinator or Lead Tester.
- Experience in driving and coordinating testing activities between business, analysts, developers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Experience coordinating functional, integration, acceptance, and end-to-end testing
- Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2.

SHOULD HAVE

- Demonstrable experience as a tester in an Agile/Scrum project
- Proven experience within the Belgian energy and utilities sector
- Proven experience in writing test scenarios
- Demonstrable experience with the test automation tool Tosca
- Experience with Azure DevOps or modern DevOps principles
- Experience with end-to-end chain testing across multiple organizations or applications
- Experience in guiding users, organizing workshops and knowledge transfer
- Experience with quality improvement and continuous improvement of test processes
- Experience with market platforms and chain integrations
- Experience with stakeholder management in complex environments with multiple external parties
- Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2
