1/ CONTEXT

Our client is a major player in the insurance sector and is currently driving a transformation programme within its Property & Casualty (P&C;) business.

To support this initiative, they are looking for a Project Manager who will contribute to transformation projects focused on Underwriting and Contract Handling activities.

The adecuado candidate has experience within the P&C; insurance domain (Fire, Liability, Workers' Compensation, Motor Insurance), either in Retail or Corporate Insurance. Previous involvement in insurance transformation programmes, particularly related to underwriting or policy/contract management processes, is considered a strong asset.

The client is seeking a delivery-oriented profile capable of coordinating stakeholders, driving execution, and ensuring successful delivery across both business and IT teams.

2/ ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

As Project Manager, you will be accountable for the overall success of the project and the delivery of its expected outcomes. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with business requirements.

a) Project definition & planning

- Define project scope, objectives and delivery approach.
- Develop a shared vision with business stakeholders.
- Analyse requirements and assess their impact on project scope.
- Estimate budget and timelines in collaboration with project team members.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans.
- Define project staffing needs and resource allocation.

b) Project execution & governance

- Set up the project organisation, including team structure, development environment and applicable processes.
- Monitor project progress and control delivery against agreed plans.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions and constraints.




- Ensure adherence to project standards and governance frameworks.
- Take corrective actions when deviations from the plan occur.
- Report project status and key decisions to the Steering Committee.

c) Stakeholder management

- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand and address their needs.
- Ensure commitment from all project members towards agreed milestones and objectives.
- Coordinate activities with various internal teams and impacted applications.
- Establish collaboration agreements with project, application and operational teams.
- Define handover arrangements with the teams responsible for maintaining the delivered solution.
- Organise and manage the transition of project deliverables to all stakeholders.

d) Supplier & partner coordination

- Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Ensure external parties deliver according to agreed plans and requirements.

e) Project closure

- Ensure proper project closure.
- Release project resources in a timely and structured manner.
- Organise the final handover and delivery process.

3/ PROFILE

- Proven experience as a Project Manager
- Experience in PMC
- Strong project delivery and stakeholder management capabilities
- Experience managing transformation initiatives involving both business and IT teams.
- Knowledge of the insurance sector, particularly Property & Casualty insurance, is highly desirable
- Languages : Trilingual: French, Dutch and English
- Very good knowledge of Jira
- Very good knowledge of Rally
