About the job

This role is central to defining, enabling, and sustaining Opella's Data & AI transformation. You will lead the development of Data & AI strategies, support their execution across functions and regions, and embed governance, learning, and value-driven thinking into everything we do. You will work closely with senior leaders, portfolio and value teams, and functional partners, connecting strategy, capabilities, and outcomes into a coherent and actionable approach.

Main responsibilities

- Define and evolve Opella's Data & AI strategy in alignment with business priorities.
- Drive strategy execution by identifying initiatives, tracking progress, and measuring impact.
- Design Data & AI operating models adapted to functions and regional needs.
- Partner with the Value Office to identify, measure, and track value from Data & AI initiatives.
- Establish learning and up-skilling programs to strengthen data and AI capabilities at all levels.




- Reinforce Data & AI governance, ethics, and compliance across initiatives.
- Act as a trusted partner to leaders, translating strategy into clear, actionable direction.

Key Requirements

- Experience shaping and executing Data, AI, or digital strategiesin complex organizations.
- Strong understanding of data, analytics, and AI concepts, paired with business acumen.
- Proven ability to design operating models, ways of working, or transformation frameworks.
- Experience leading learning, capability-building, or change initiativesat scale.
- Structured and analytical mindset, with a focus on value and outcomes.
- Confident communicator, comfortable engaging senior leaders and integral teams.
