As a Senior Data Engineer, you will own and evolve the data platform that powers decision-making for a global healthcare audience.

You’ll design and operate scalable data ingestion and processing pipelines, mentor peers, and drive architecture from idea to production.

You’ll work across the stack, collaborating with analytics teams to improve reliability, observability, and cost-efficiency.

This role suits a hands-on leader who shapes the platform’s roadmap and champions data-as-a-product in a remote-friendly, impact-driven culture.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Design, build, and operate scalable data ingestion and processing pipelines across multiple sources
• Lead architectural decisions and write proposals for adoption
• Improve reliability, observability, and cost-efficiency of the platform
• Collaborate closely with Platform engineers and analytics teams to enhance data tooling and self-service
• Mentor other data engineers through code reviews, pairing, and design feedback
• Drive automation and AI-assisted operations to reduce repetitive work
• Engage with cross-functional teams to translate data problems into shipped solutions





Responsabilidades
• Several years of experience building and operating production data platforms (data warehousing, data lakes, orchestration, ingestion)
• Strong Python and SQL skills with good software engineering practices
• Deep experience with an orchestrator (Airflow) including running, scaling, and debugging
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and cloud data warehouses
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Incident experience and design-for-failure mindset (idempotency, backfills, data quality checks, monitoring)
• Effective senior-level communication; proactive and pragmatic problem-solving
• Interest in AI-assisted operations and future data tooling
• Experience with streaming/messaging (RabbitMQ a plus; Kafka counts)
• Exposure to dbt, Terraform, and CI/CD concepts would be beneficial
