IE University is seeking a Nurse for its Medical Service department. The primary responsibility is to provide top‑level medical care to university members, including primary care, health education, and promotion of healthy lifestyle habits.

Location: Madrid – IE Tower Campus. Working hours: 16:00–22:00, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

- Assessing, observing, and speaking to patients.
- Recording details and symptoms of patient medical history and current health.
- Identifying health problems and acting as needed.
- Indicating the most appropriate therapy for acute processes.
- Planning and proposing appropriate preventive measures for each clinical situation.
- Administering medications and treatments, then monitoring patients for side effects and reactions.
- Performing wound care, such as cleaning and bandaging.
- Operating and monitoring medical equipment.
- Educating patients on treatment and care plans, as well as answering their questions.
- Making referrals to the appropriate level of care if needed.




- Monitoring the student's situation and maintaining communication with parents or guardians.
- Performing additional duties assigned.

Qualifications

- Nursing Degree (homologated foreign titles + collegiate in Spain).
- More than 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Experience successfully collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Working knowledge and ability to apply professional standards of practice in job situations.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.

- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
